Butter Chicken Livers Recipe
This chicken livers recipe is one of the gems from my family cookbook. Stock up on more and more chicken as you will want to make this chicken livers time and again. It is an effortless main dish. I would really appreciate a feedback on this recipe of chicken livers. Thank You.
Ingredients
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup onions, chopped
1/2 pound chicken livers, floured
1 cup consomme, or 1 cup hot water and 1 teaspoon BV liquid, or 1 cup broth
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Directions
Saute onions in butter until clear.
Remove with slotted spoon.
Add floured chicken livers to butter; Brown lightly.
Reduce heat, add consomme and Worcestershire sauce; return onions to pan.
Cover.
Simmer for 10 minutes.
If sauce is thin, thicken with small amount of cornstarch and water, mixed together.
Stir until clear.
