Chicken Khorma Recipe
Ingredients
| Chicken 1 (about 2 kg.) | ||
| Coconut | 1 (For 6 to 8) | |
| Poppy seeds | 100 Gram (For 6 to 8) | |
| Cashewnuts | 100 Gram (For 6 to 8) | |
| Red chilli | 2 (For 6 to 8) | |
| Green chilli | 1 (For 6 to 8) | |
| Coriander | 10 Gram (For 6 to 8) | |
| Onions | 750 Gram (For 6 to 8) | |
| Salt | To Taste (For 6 to 8) | |
| Curds | 500 Gram (For 6 to 8) | |
| Fat | 50 Gram (For 6 to 8) | |
Directions
1. Clean and joint chicken. Grind together coconut, poppy seeds, cashewnuts, red chilli, green chilli, coriander and half the onions.
2. Heat fat and lightly saute remaining onions (sliced).
3. Add ground ingredients and fry for a few minutes.
4. Add jointed chicken. Fry for further 5 minutes. Add salt to taste and beaten curds.
5. Cook over low fire till done.
