Chicken In A Pot Recipe
Ingredients
| Chickens | 2 Pound | |
| Olive oil | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Onion | 1 Large, minced | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 3/4 Teaspoon | |
| 1 medium tomato, chopped, or 1/2 cup drained canned tomatoes | ||
| Dry white wine | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
In Dutch oven or heavy kettle, brown chicken in olive oil until golden brown.
Sprinkle with onion, garlic, the salt and pepper.
Cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
Add tomato and wine and simmer for 30 minutes longer, or until chicken is tender.
