| Shortening | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Bean sprouts | 7 Can (10oz) | |
| Cooked chicken | 2 1/2 Quart, finley diced | |
| 12 chicken-bouillon cubes | ||
| Hot water | 2 1/4 Quart | |
| Soy sauce | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cornstarch | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cold water | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 6 cups packaged precooked rice | ||
| Chow-mein noodles | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |

Directions
Cook onion and celery in shortening in large kettle for 10 minutes.
Add bean sprouts and liquid, chicken, and bouillon dissolved in hot water.
Bring to boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
Add soy sauce.
Stir in cornstarch blended with cold water.
Cook, stirring, until thickened.
Season and serve rice prepared as directed on package, and noodles.
