Ingredients
| Bacon Slices | 6 | |
| 2 1/2 to 3 pounds frying chicken, cut into serving size pieces | ||
| 6 carrots, cut in 1 inch pieces | ||
| Water | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Chicken bouillon cubes | 2 | |
| Parsley | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Light cream | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Flour | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Egg yolks | 2 | |
Directions
Place bacon between layers of paper towels and cook on HIGH (9) for 6 minutes.
Crumble.
Place chicken pieces in glass casserole.
Add bacon, carrots, water, bouillon, parsley and salt.
Cover with plastic wrap.
Insert probe into liquid.
Cook on HIGH (9); HEAT & HOLD at 180°F for 1 hour 15 minutes.
Remove chicken.
Combine light cream and flour.
Mix with chicken drippings in casserole dish and cook on MEDIUM (5) for 5 minutes.
Beat egg yolks slightly and stir 1/4 cup hot mixture into yolks, then add to sauce and cook on MEDIUM (5) for two minutes.
Pour sauce over chicken and serve.
