Chicken Cutlets with Maple Mustard Dill sauce Recipe Video
Chicken cutlets with Mustard Dill sauce is a very simple recipe. In this recipe chicken is pounded so as to cook it faster and evenly. There are flavors of orange rind, mustard and maple in it. Chicken cutlets and mustard dill sauce make an easy and wonderful meal that can be paired medium bodied white wines. Enjoy meal.
Ingredients
4 (6-ounce) skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
Cooking spray
2 tbsp chopped red onion
6 tbsp maple syrup
1/4 c Dijon mustard
1 tbsp water
1 tsp chopped fresh dill
1 tsp grated orange rind
Directions
1.Pound the chicken breast half by placing them between two plastic wraps. The chicken should have 1/4 inch thickness.
2.Sprinkle chicken evenly with salt and pepper.
3.Heat a nonstick pan. Coat pan with cooking spray.
4.Add chicken to pan and cook each side until done. Remove chicken from pan.
5.Reduce heat and add onion to pan. Saute for a minute. Add syrup and remaining ingredients.
6.Serve sauce with chicken.
