Chicken Chow Mein Recipe
Ingredients
| Oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Onions | 1 Cup (16 tbs), sliced | |
| Celery | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Mushrooms | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Chicken stock | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Soy sauce | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Chicken | 3 Cup (16 tbs), cooked | |
| Cornstarch | 1 1/4 Tablespoon | |
| Scallions | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Chow Mein Noodles | ||
| Boiled White Rice | ||
Directions
MAKING
1) In a saucepan, heat some oil
2) Saute the onion, celery, mushrooms till soft for about 3 minutes
3) Add in the 1 cup stock, soy sauce and the chicken
4) Simmer and cook for 5 minutes
5) In the remaining stock, add in the cornstarch
6) Add in the chicken and cook the mixture till thickened
7) Add in the scallion
8) Crisp the noodles in the oven
SERVING
9) Onto 4 individual plates, portion the noodles with the chicken spooned over and the rice served as a side dish
