Chicken Cheese Puffs Recipe
Ingredients
| Cooked chicken | 2 Cup (16 tbs), finley diced | |
| Mayonnaise | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Shallots | 2 Large, minced | |
| Dried basil | 1/4 Teaspoon, crumbled | |
| Dried thyme | 1/4 Teaspoon, crumbled | |
| Ground pepper | 1 To taste | |
| 1/2 to 3/4 cup grated Fontina, Gruyere or Swiss cheese | ||
| Parmesan cheese | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), grated | |
| Very thin slices of rye bread | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Combine first 3 ingredients in medium bowl.
Blend in herbs and seasonings.
Add Fontina, Gruyere or Swiss cheese and 2 tablespoons Parmesan, blending well.
Slice bread in half.
Spread mixture evenly over tops.
Arrange on baking sheet.
Sprinkle with remaining Parmesan and bake until lightly browned, about 10 minutes.
