Chicken Chasseur Recipe
Chicken Chasseur is spectacular if it turns out right. I make this Chicken Chasseur quite often. Do give it a try!
Ingredients
| Chicken breasts | 6 Pound, pounded | |
| Oil | ||
| Shallots | 2 , chopped | |
| 12 fresh mushrooms, minced, or 1 small can mushroom pieces | ||
| 1/2 cup dry white California wine | ||
| 2 tomatoes, or 1/4 cup tomato sauce | ||
| Parsley | 1 Teaspoon, chopped | |
| Tarragon | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 1 teaspoon salt pepper flour | ||
| 1 teaspoon salt pepper flour | ||
Directions
Season chicken with salt and pepper, and dust with flour.
In a large skillet, saute chicken in oil until it is lightly browned on all sides.
Remove chicken to crock cooker.
Add shallots and mushrooms to skillet, stirring a minute or so, then add remaining ingredients.
When blended, pour sauce over chicken.
Cover and cook at Low for 6 to 7 hours.
