 Vegetable oil4 Tablespoon
 1 whole chicken, skinned and cut into pieces
 Onion2 Teaspoon, minced
 Flour1 Teaspoon
 Salt1 Teaspoon
 Sugar1/2 Teaspoon
 Paprika1/2 Teaspoon
 Garlic powder1/4 Teaspoon
 Ground thyme1/4 Teaspoon
 Pepper1/4 Teaspoon
 Curry powder1/8 Teaspoon

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°. Spread 2 tablespoons of oil in the bottom of a large, shallow baking dish. Place chicken pieces on top in a single layer. Pour remaining 2 tablespoons oil over all pieces.
Combine remaining ingredients in a small bowl. Sprinkle half of this mixture over chicken.
Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 30 minutes. Remove from oven.
Turn chicken over and sprinkle remaining mixture over all pieces. Return to oven and bake for 30 minutes more, or until tender.
