Chicken Cacciatore Recipe
Ingredients
| Chicken Breast- 6 medium, cut in half | ||
| Chicken legs- 6 medium, cut in half | ||
| Onions | 2 Medium, finely chopped | |
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm) | |
| Green Pepper- 1 seeded, diced | ||
| Italian tomatoes | 2 Pound | |
| Tomato sauce | 1 | |
| Oil- for sautéing | ||
| Bay leaf | 1 | |
| Celery salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Dried oregano | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1 To taste | |
| Pepper | 1 To taste | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Preheat the oven at 400°F.
MAKING
2) In a pan heat oil, add onions and cook till they are translucent.
3) As the onions are nearly done add garlic. Remove onions garlic mix, and put it aside.
4) In the same pan heat some more oil add chicken breasts and legs and sauté till all the sides are golden brown.
5) Remove chicken and leave it aside.
6) Heat a deep oven proof dish add plum tomatoes, tomato sauces, onions, bay leaf, celery salt, oregano, salt and pepper. Cook for 10 minutes.
7) Add chicken to the sauce and bake for 90- 110 minutes.
FINALIZING
8)When serving heat the chicken in oven at 350°F for 30 minutes.

9) Heat a pan with little oil and saute the green pepper, add to chicken when the last 10 minutes of cooking is left.
