Chicken Cacciatore Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 chicken fryer (2-3 pounds), cut up, skin and fat removed | ||
| Flour | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Onion | 1 , chopped | |
| Green pepper | 1 , chopped | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Dried oregano | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Bay leaves | 2 , crushed | |
| Parsley | 2 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Tomatoes | 1 Can (10oz), undrained | |
| Tomato Paste | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Dry white wine | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
1. Coat chicken pieces with flour and brown in oil. Remove from pan.
2. Saute onion, green pepper, and garlic in pan for about 3 minutes.
3. Add remaining ingredients, cover, and simmer 30 minutes or until chicken is tender.
