Ingredients

 Cooking oil1 Teaspoon
 Chicken2 1/2 Pound, cut into pieces
 Instant minced onion1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Garlic powder1/2 Teaspoon
 1 chicken bouillon cube or 1 teaspoon instant chicken bouillon
 Boiling water1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Tomatoes2 Cup (16 tbs), undrained
 Tomato Paste3/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Mushrooms3/4 Cup (16 tbs), undrained
 Salt1 Tablespoon
 Pepper1/2 Teaspoon
 Ground thyme1/8 Teaspoon
 Bay leaves2
 Cayenne pepper1 Dash

Directions

Heat oil in large fry pan.
Add chicken and brown until golden.
Add onion; brown slightly.
Drain off excess fat.
Dissolve bouillon cube in boiling water.
Add to chicken.
Add remaining ingredients.
Simmer, covered, for 1/2 hour.
Remove cover and simmer 1/2 hour until tender.
Serve sauce over chicken.
