Chicken Breasts With Avocado Salsa Recipe
Ingredients
| Ground cumin | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Garlic salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Chili powder | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 4 (4-ounce) boneless, skinless chicken breast halves | ||
| Vegetable oil | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 1/2 cup bottled chunky salsa | ||
| Ripe avocado | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), peeled | |
| Cilantro | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
Directions
1. Combine first 3 ingredients; sprinkle over both sides of chicken.
2. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken; cook 5 minutes. Turn chicken, and add salsa to pan. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 7 minutes or until chicken is done.
3. Transfer chicken onto individual serving plates. Stir avocado and cilantro into salsa in pan; cook just until thoroughly heated. Spoon salsa mixture over chicken.
