Ingredients

 
1/2 cup (125 ml) dry white wine
 
2 tbsp (30 ml) red wine vinegar
 
2 shallots, chopped
 
3 tbsp (45 ml) green peppercorns
 
1 1/4 cups (300 ml) brown sauce, heated
 
2 chicken breasts, skinned, halved and boned
 
Salt and pepper

Directions

Preheat barbecue at MEDIUM.
Cook wine, vinegar and shallots in small saucepan over high heat; bring to boil.
Reduce heat to medium and continue cooking 4 to 5 minutes.
Add peppercorns and brown sauce; correct seasoning.
Bring to quick boil then remove from heat.
Season chicken and baste in sauce.
Place breasts on hot grill and cook 10 minutes each side.
Turn at least 4 to 5 times and baste occasionally.
