Chicken and Vegetable Biryani Recipe Video
This Chicken Biryani very famous recipe in india. Chef cooks Tandoori Chicken cooked in flavored basmati rice.
Ingredients
2 cups Basmati Rice
Chicken 1.5 lb
2 tsp ginger garlic
paste
4 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp lemon juice
salt to taste
yogurt 2 tsp
Whole Garam masala
Oil 6 tsp
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
1 big Sliced onion
1 tomato pureed
2 tsp coriander
powder
3 tsp biryani masala
Mint leaves 2 tsp
Saffron
Fried Onion 4 tsp
Desi ghee 3 tsp
Directions
Marination - Take a bowl in that add ginger garlic paste, Red chilli powder, salt, lemon juice, food color, mix and add chicken pieces, mix, cover and marinate for 1 hour.
Bake this chicken in oven on 350 degree Fahrenheit for 15 mts.
To boil rice - Wash and soak basmati rice in water for 45 mts. Boil 8 cups of water, add salt, whole garam masala, 3 tsp ghee and add soaked basmati rice and cook till rice is 80% done. Drain the water from rice and keep it aside.
Heat 3 tsp oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and sliced onion and cook till onion gets light brown color.
Add ginger garlic paste, coriander powder, red chilli powder and cook for 3 to 4 mts.
Add tomato puree, mint leaves and cook till oil separates from the spices.
Add biryani masala and cook for about a minute.
Add tandoori chicken, add salt, mix, cover and cook on a low heat for 10 mts.
Now arrange layers.
Add some water in a chicken, mix.
Spread boiled rice over chicken, sprinkle biryani masala, fried onion, add saffron, cover and cook for 10 mts on a medium heat.
After 10 mts, reduce heat to as low as possible and cook for another 20 mts.
Turn off the heat and let it rest for 10 mts.
Serve hot with raita!
