Chicken And Tomatoes Recipe
Ingredients
| Raw Chicken Breasts- 2nos | ||
| Sherry | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Soy sauce | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Cornstarch | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Oil | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Onions | 1 Cup (16 tbs), diced | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Sugar | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Chicken broth | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Tomatoes | 1 , peeled | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Cut chicken into 1 inch cubes.
2) In a bowl, toss the chicken with the sherry, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and 1 tablespoon of cornstarch.
3) Let the mixture stand for 15 minutes.
MAKING
4) In a skillet, heat oil and sauté chicken for 10 minutes.
5) Stir in the onions and sauté for 10 minutes.
6) In a bowl mix together remaining soy sauce and cornstarch, salt, sugar and broth.
7) Add the soy sauce mixture to the skillet, stirring until thickened.
8) Add tomatoes and cook until heated.
SERVING
9) Serve hot with steamed rice.
