Chicken And Papaya Polynesian Recipe
Ingredients
| 6 whole chicken breasts (12 split breasts) | ||

| Melted butter | 6 Tablespoon | |
| Pineapple | 1 Can (10oz), frozen | |
| Soy sauce | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Ground ginger | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Garlic salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Water | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Papaya | 1 | |
| Hot cooked rice | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika; heat the butter in a frying pan and saute chicken until browned on both sides; arrange in a baking pan.
Heat together the pineapple-orange juice concentrate, soy sauce, ginger, garlic salt, and 1/4.cup water.
Set aside 1/4 cup of this sauce.
Spoon part of the remaining sauce over the browned chicken breasts and bake in a moderate oven (350°) for 20 to 30 minutes, or until tender, basting frequently with sauce.
Add water to pan if necessary.
Peel, halve, seed, and slice the papaya; dip in reserved sauce and heat along with chicken the last 5 minutes of baking.
