Chicken and Noodles Romanoff Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 packages wide noodles | ||
| Cooked chicken | 1 Cup (16 tbs), diced | |
| 1 pint white sauce made with chicken stock or broth | ||
| Mushrooms | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Butter | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Pimiento | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
While noodles are cooking according to package directions, saute mushroom slices in butter; adding pimiento just before done.
Combine sauce, mushrooms, pimiento, and chicken.
Simmer together over low heat.
Drain cooked noodles; butter them and mix with other ingredients; salt and pepper to taste.
Pour into greased casserole.
Place in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes.
Serve hot.
