 Butter/Margarine1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Flour1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Milk2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Cooked chicken2 Cup (16 tbs), diced
 Mushrooms1 Cup (16 tbs), sliced
 Green olives2 Tablespoon, chopped
 2 tblespoons blanched slivered almonds
 Pastry for an 8 inch one-crust pie
 Egg1
 Milk1/2 Cup (16 tbs)

Directions

GETTING READY
1) Preheat oven to temperature of 450 degrees.

MAKING
2) With butter, flour and milk, make a sauce and season carefully. Add the mushrooms, olives, chicken and almonds and mix properly. Turn the mixture into a pie plate which is 8-inches deep.
3) Cover the pastry and with pastry leaves made from pastry trimmings, decorate the top.
4) Glaze the preparation with milk or beaten egg. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, reduce the heat to 375 degrees and bake for another 20 minutes or till the pastry has browned properly.

SERVING
5) Can be served hot or cold, with vegetables or salad.
