Then add the minced meat, pickle and seasoning.
Roll out the pastry thinly and cut into 3 inch rounds for the bottom and 2 1/2 inch rounds for the top of the patties.
Line deep patty tins or deep bun tins with the 3 inch rounds, and fill with the chicken and ham mixture.
Put on the lids, sealing the edges with a little of the beaten egg.
Prick the tops to allow steam to escape, and glaze with rest of the egg.
Bake in a hot oven for about 20 minutes.
