Chicken And Cherries Recipe
Ingredients
| All purpose flour | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Paprika | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Garlic salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 3 large chicken breasts, cut in half lengthwise | ||
| Butter/Margarine | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 1-pound can pitted dark sweet cherries, drained | ||
| 1 cup sauterne | ||
Directions
Combine flour, salt, paprika, and garlic salt in paper bag; add 2 or 3 pieces of chicken at a time and shake.
Melt butter in large skillet.
Add chicken and brown slowly, turning once.
Add cherries; pour sauterne over all.
Cover and simmer about 35 minutes or till tender.
Pass extra sauce.
