Chicken And Broccoli Recipe
Chicken and broccoli is a skillet cooked simple chicken recipe. Prepared with broccoli and mushrooms, the chicken and broccoli is flavored with soy sauce and lemon juice concentrate. Sherried to taste, the chicken is prepared with a slightly thick sauce to it and can be served over rice for a full meal.
Ingredients
| 1 pound skinned boneless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces | ||
| Broccoli flowerets | 3 Cup (16 tbs), cooked | |
| Egg white | 1 , beaten | |
| Soy sauce | 5 Teaspoon | |
| Cornstarch | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Vegetable oil | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Mushrooms | 8 Ounce, sliced | |
| 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice from Concentrate | ||
| Dry sherry | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Pimiento | 1 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Hot cooked rice | ||
Directions
In medium bowl, combine egg white, 3 teaspoons soy sauce and cornstarch; mix well.
Add chicken; stir to coat.
Refrigerate 1 hour.
In large skillet, over high heat, brown chicken in oil; remove.
Add mushrooms; cook and stir until tender.
Add chicken, broccoli and remaining ingredients except rice; heat through.
Add chicken; stir to coat.
