Chicken A La King With Pea And Mushroom Recipe
Ingredients
| 50 g / 2 oz butter | ||
| 100 g / 4 oz frozen peas | ||
| 100 g / 4 oz mushrooms, sliced | ||
| 50 g / 2 oz flour | ||
| 300 ml / 1/2 pint milk | ||
| 300 ml / 1/2 pint chicken stock | ||
| 350 g / 12 oz cooked chicken, diced | ||
| 2.5 ml / 1/2 tsp celery salt | ||
| Pepper | 1 | |
| 15 ml / 1 tbsp single cream | ||
Directions
MAKING
1) Take a bowl and melt butter for 45 seconds on power.
2) Stir fry peas and mushroom and cook for 2 minutes on power.
3) Mix flour and pour milk and chicken stock gradually.
4) Cook for 4 minutes on power, stirring once while cooking.
5) Add the chicken pieces and cook for 2 minutes on power.
6) Whisk in cream and season to taste.
SERVING
7) Serve on a bed of rice.
