Microwaved Chicken A La King Recipe
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Flour||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Chicken broth||1 Cup (16 tbs)|

MICROWAVE on HIGH, until butter is melted.
Stir in flour to make a smooth paste.
Add chicken broth and milk, beating with wire whip.
MICROWAVE 6 to 7 MINUTES on '8', or until thick, stirring after 4 minutes and again when thick.
Add chicken, peas, pimiento, celery seed and pepper.
MICROWAVE 4 MINUTES on HIGH, or until hot.
Just before serving, stir in seasoned salt to taste and grated cheese.
Serve on biscuits, buttered toast or patty shells.
For ovens without solid state heat control, MICROWAVE 5 to 6 MINUTES on HIGH, stirring every 1 1/2 to 2 minutes.
