Directions

GETTING READY
1. Remove skin from chestnuts.
2. In a saucepan of boiling water, boil chestnuts for 10 minutes.
3. Remove the inner skin from chestnuts.
4. Chop onions finely.

MAKING
5. In a pan, fry onions in butter until lightly browned.
6. Add tomato sauce, milk, salt, pepper and the chopped parsley and mint; let simmer for 10 minutes.
7. Sprinkle water on bread crumbs to moisten.
8. Add moistened crumbs and chestnuts to the pan; mix well.

SERVING
