Chestnut-stuffed Cornish Game Hens Recipe
Ingredients
1 cup chopped canned cooked chestnuts
1/4 cup golden raisins
1/4 cup sauteed onion
1 small apple, chopped
2 tablespoons diced celery
2 small Cornish game hens
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
Directions
Combine chestnuts with raisins, onion, apple and celery.
Season to taste.
Use to stuff hens.
Roast at 375 °'F.
1 hour or until done, basting several times with melted butter or margarine.
