2 lb. chestnuts
1 Tbs. chopped parsley
4 oz. butter or dripping, melted
2 tsp. salt
Pinch of pepper
4 oz. breadcrumbs
Stock to moisten
1 lb. sausage meat
Directions
Shell the nuts as for Chestnut Soup.
Barely cover with stock, and cook slowly until they are tender and almost dry.
