Directions

Line pan with whole graham crackers, breaking crackers, if necessary, to fit. Prepare pudding mix with milk as directed on package for pudding. Let stand 5 minutes, and then blend in whipped topping. Spread half the pudding mixture over the crackers. Add another layer of crackers; top with remaining pudding mixture and remaining crackers. Spread cherry pie filling over top layer of crackers. Chill 3 hours or longer. Blueberry pie filling or 1 pint strawberry halves, brushed with currant jelly, may be used in place of cherry topping, if desired. Note: Raw milk contains an enzyme that reacts with this pudding mixture to produce a soapy taste.
