Cherry Dessert Mold Recipe
Ingredients
| Sweet cherries | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 4 teaspoons low calorie cherry flavored gelatin | ||
| Water | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Lemon juice | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Non caloric sweetener equal to 8 teaspoons sugar | ||
Directions
Add water, if necessary, to cherry liquid to make 1 cup.
Heat to boiling.
Pour over gelatin in a bowl and stir until gelatin is dissolved.
Blend in the water, lemon juice, and sweetener.
Chill until gelatin is slightly thickened.
Halve and pit the drained cherries; set aside.
Blend cherries into slightly thickened gelatin.
Turn mixture into a 1 quart mold.
Chill until firm.
Unmold onto a chilled serving plate.
