Cherry Dessert Recipe
Ingredients
2 cans (21-ounces each) cherry pie filling
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 1/2 teaspoons almond extract
1 package (9-ounces) yellow cake mix (one-layer size)
1/2 cup (1/4 -pound) butter, or margarine
1/2 cup sliced almonds
Directions
Combine pie filling, cinnamon and almond extract in (12 x 8-inch) baking dish.
Spread evenly.
Sprinkle cake mix over top.
Drizzle with butter, sprinkle with almonds.
Microwave 15 minutes on HIGH, rotating dish 1/2 turn after 7 minutes.
Serve hot or cold.
