Cherry Buns Recipe
Ingredients
| Flour | 2 Cup (32 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1 Pinch | |
| Baking powder | 4 Teaspoon | |
| Butter | 2 Ounce | |
| Milk/Milk and water mixed | 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
| Sugar frosted cornflakes | 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Topping) | |
| Honey | 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Topping) | |
| Butter | 1 Ounce (Topping) | |
| Quartered glace cherries | 10 (Topping) |
Directions
Sift flour, salt and baking powder into a bowl.
Rub in butter finely.
Add milk to make soft dough.
Pat out onto a floured board to 1/4" thickness and cut into 10 x 3" rounds.
Put into a greased 10" layer cake pan.
Crush the flakes slightly, combine with honey and melt- ed butter and mix well and pour over the scones.
Arrange cherry quarters on each and bake in a hot oven for 15 — 20 minutes.
These should be served immediately.
