Cherry And Apple Jam Recipe
The cherry and apple jam is prepared with black cherries and canned pie apples. Cooked along with lemon juice and pectin, the cherry and apple jam is sweetened with sugar and can be sealed and stored for later use.
Ingredients
2 x 440 g can stoneless black cherries
1 x 400 g can pie apple
1/3 cup lemon juice
3 cups sugar
1 tablespoon pectin
Directions
1.
Combine drained cherries, apple and lemon juice in a 3-litre casserole.
Cook covered for 5-7 minutes on HIGH.

Add sugar and pectin, stir well.

Cook uncovered for 20-25 minutes on HIGH, stirring 2-3 times during cooking.

Test that jam gels.

Pour into sterilised jars and seal.
