Cherry Pineapple Cake Recipe
Ingredients
1/2 cup butter or shortening
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 cup crushed pineapple
1/2 to 1 cup cherries
1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
Cream butter and sugar; add well beaten egg yolks, then flour and baking powder (well sifted together); then floured fruit and lastly fold in well beaten egg whites.
Bake in a moderate oven (350° F.) one hour.
