 2 cups Corn Flakes or 1/2 cup Corn Flake Crumbs
 All purpose flour2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Baking soda1/4 Teaspoon
 Salt1/2 Teaspoon
 3/4 cup soft butter or margarine
 Sugar1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Eggs2
 Nuts1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
 Maraschino cherries1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped

Directions

1. If using Corn Flakes, crush into fine crumbs. Sift together flour, soda and salt; mix with Corn Flake Crumbs; set aside.
2. Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy; add eggs and beat well. Mix in sifted dry ingredients, nuts and cherries. Drop by level tablespoonfuls onto greased baking sheets. Top with additional cherry halves.
3. Bake in moderate oven (375° F.) about 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
