Ingredients

 Pitted dark sweet cherries - 1 can of 14 1/2 ounces, drained and halved OR Fresh dark sweet cherries - 2 cups, pitted and halved
 Strawberries1 Cup (16 tbs), sliced
 Cantaloupe balls - 1 cup
 Frozen pineapple chunks - 1 can of 13 1/2 ounces, thawed and drained
 Orange marmalade1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Hot water1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Ginger1 Teaspoon, candied
 Banana1
 Fresh mint

Directions

MAKING
1) Chill the dark sweet cherries, cantaloupe balls and sliced strawberries.
2) In compote, glass bowl or 8 sherbet glasses, layer the chilled fruits and drained pineapple chunks.
3) Combine together the orange marmalade, candied ginger and hot water.
4) Drizzle the mixture all over the fruit and chill.

SERVING
5) Over the chilled preparation, arrange the banana slices and garnish with springs of fresh mint. Serve right away. Makes a good dessert.
