Cherry Clafoutis Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 1/4 bing cherries, stoned | ||
| Flour | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), sifted | |
| 1/4 cup fine sugar | ||
| Eggs | 3 | |
| 300 ml 1/4 cups) milk few drops vanilla extract | ||
Directions
1. Place the cherries in a single layer in a 20 cm (8 inch) flan dish.
2. Place the flour and sugar in a mixing bowl and make a well in the centre. Add the eggs and half of the milk and beat together, gradually incorporating all the flour.
3. Add the remaining milk and the vanilla extract, then pour over the cherries. Bake in a preheated oven, 190°C/ 375°F, for about 35-40 minutes, until puffed up and golden brown.
