Cherries Jubilee Recipe
Ingredients
| Sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Cornstarch | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Water | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Bing cherries | 2 Pound, pitted | |
| 6-8 tablespoons kirsch or cognac | ||
| Vanilla Ice Cream | 2 Pint | |
Directions
MAKING
1 In a pan add sugar,salt,cornstarch and water.
2 Add pitted cherries and cook stirring constantly until thick.
3 Pour cognac or kirsch over the top and ignite.
SERVING
4 Serve immediately over individual servings of hard vanilla ice cream.
