Chef's Salad Bowl Recipe
Ingredients
1 1/2 quarts washed, drained, and crisped
Buttercrnnch, Bibb, or Boston lettuce
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup sliced radishes
1 large Bermuda onion, chopped
2 tomatoes, cut into wedges
1 green pepper, cut into thin strips
1/2 cucumber, skin scored and thinly sliced
1 cup diced Cheddar cheese
1 cup julienne strips cooked turkey or chicken breast
2 hard-cooked eggs, sliced
Salad dressing, preferably homemade
Directions
1. In a large salad bowl, combine the lettuce, celery, radishes, onion, tomatoes, green pepper, and cucumber. Toss to mix.
2. Arrange the cheese, turkey, and eggs attractively on top of the vegetables. Toss with the dressing, at the table, just before serving.
