Chef'S Salad With Chicken Recipe
Ingredients
| 75 g/3 oz cooked chicken, cut into strips | ||
| 75 g/3 oz cooked tongue, cut into strips | ||
| 75 g/3 oz Gruyere cheese, cut into strips | ||
| Egg | 1 , thinly sliced | |
| Onion | 1 Tablespoon, finely chopped | |
| 3 Tbsp black olives, stoned and chopped | ||
| 75 ml/3 fl oz olive oil | ||
| Red wine vinegar | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Lemon juice | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 1/4 tsp prepared French mustard | ||
| Black pepper salt | 1 To taste | |
Directions
Break the lettuce into leaves and arrange in a large salad bowl.
Add the chicken, tongue, cheese, egg, onion and olives.
Chill for 10 minutes.
Put the remaining ingredients, with salt and pepper to taste, in a screwtop jar.
Shake well.
Just before serving, pour this dressing over the salad ingredients.
