Grape Jelly Hot Dogs and Garlic Cola Ribs Recipe Video
Chef Julie Steinberg shares two delicious dishes and the recepe for each, then Steve Arvey is back and performs again with Dan Borenstein, followed by Monica Jinks returning with Tim Vanna and Tom Carrey who both perform on this 1997 epsiode of "TAPED WITH... RABBI DOUG" .
Ingredients
Cocktail Hot Dogs:
1 pack mini cocktail hot dogs - boiled and drained
12oz grape jelly or jam (use only 2/3)
8oz plain regular mustard
Rib Appetizer:
3 packs of rib
garlic powder
1 cup plain ketchup
1 1/2 cups of cola (any brand)
Directions
Cocktail Hot Dogs:
In a heated pan take the jelly and cook for a while. Add the mustard to this. Boil this on high heat and let it caramelize. Keep stirring the liquid. Add the hot dogs into this, when the liquid turns thick. Keep the hot dogs boiling over low heat for 30-45mins.
Rib Appetizer:
Put the ribs in a oven safe baking pan. Season the ribs with liberal amount of garlic powder. In a medium bowl, blend the ketchup and cola, together. Pour this mixture over the ribs. Bake the ribs by covering the pan for 3 hrs at 325 degree.
