Cheesy Patty Cakes Recipe
Ingredients
| Celery | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), finley chopped | |
| Butter/Margarine | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Water | 1 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Packaged instant mashed potatoes (enough for 4 servings) | ||
| Egg | 1 , beaten | |
| 1/4 cup shredded sharp American cheese | ||
| Instant minced onion | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Parsley flakes | 1 Teaspoon, dried | |
| Pepper | 1 Dash | |
| Cooked turkey | 1 Cup (16 tbs), finely chopped | |
| 1/3 cup fine dry bread crumbs | ||
| Cheese Sauce | ||
Directions
In medium skillet cook celery in margarine till tender.
Stir in water.
Bring to boiling; stir in instant mashed potatoes, egg, cheese, onion, parsley, and pepper.
Mix in turkey.
Shape into 12 patties; coat with crumbs.
Cook on hot greased griddle over medium heat about 2 minutes on each side.
Serve patties with Cheese Sauce.
