Cheesy Egg and Greens Toss Recipe
Ingredients
| Plain yogurt - One 8-ounce carton | ||
| Horseradish - 2 to 3 teaspoons, prepared | ||
| Sugar | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Hot pepper sauce - Dash bottled | ||
| Milk | ||
| Spinach | 4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Swiss chard | 4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cheddar cheese - 4 ounces, cut into 1-inch-long julienne sticks | ||
| Cherry tomatoes | 1 Cup (16 tbs), halved | |
| Green onions | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), sliced | |
| Eggs - 4 hard-cooked, sliced | ||
Directions
MAKING
1. For dressing in a small bowl stir yogurt, horseradish, sugar, hot pepper sauce and 1/2 teaspoon salt until well blended.
2. To make dressing of desired consistency stir in enough milk.
3. Cover and let it chill.
4. In a large bowl toss slightly to mix spinach, Swiss chard, cheddar cheese, tomatoes and green onions.
5. Add eggs, pour dressing over spinach mixture.
SERVING
6. Toss lightly to coat and serve.
