Cheesy Creamy Spinach Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Flour | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Cayenne Pepper - just a dash | ||
| Nutmeg | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Milk | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Parmesan cheese | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Fresh Spinach - 1 pound, roughly chopped | ||
| Onion | 1 | |
| Oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
Directions
MAKING
1) Into a saucepan, melt the butter and then add in the flour
2) Add in the milk and mix quickly with a whip to form a white sauce
3) Add in the cayenne, nutmeg, cheese and allow to simmer for 2 minutes and keep aside
4) Into a steamer, place the chopped spinach and allow to spinach till reduced
5) Place the steamed spinach into a serving dish and pour the white sauce over
SERVING
6) Serve alongside a bowl of noodles and serve the spinach warm
