Cheese Toast Recipe
This cheese toast is a savory baked cheese preparation made with eggs. Seasoned and baked in the oven, this cheese toast is filling, nutritous and fills you up instantly.
Ingredients
Egg- 1
Cream- 1 1/2 tablespoons
Flour- 1 1/2 tablespoons
Cheese- 1/4 pound, grated
Salt and pepper- to taste
Slices of bread- as required
Directions
MAKING
1.Mix first five ingredients well together and work the mixture until firm.
2.Spread this mixture on slices of bread two and one half inches thick.
3.Fry in deep hot fat (375°-390° F.) putting the cheese side down first; then turn over.
4.Remove when the toast is a golden brown.
SERVING
5.Serve with a sauce of your choice
