Cheese Straws Recipe
Ingredients
| Shredded Cheddar cheese | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Wheat germ | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 1 package pie crust mix | ||
Directions
Make pie crust according to package directions.
Roll the crust out on a floured board into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
Sprinkle half the rectangle with the cheese and wheat germ.
Fold the other half over cheese and roll to 1/4 inch thick.
Cut the dough into strips, 1/2 by 3 inches.
Place on greased cookie sheet and bake at 400°F. for 12 to 15 minutes.
Watch carefully and don t over brown.
