Cheese-Sauced Striped Bass Recipe
Ingredients
| Striped bass fillets | 2 Pound (fresh or frozen or other fish fillets or steaks) | |
| Butter | 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
| All purpose flour | 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
| Garlic salt | 1⁄4 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1 Dash | |
| Milk | 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs) | |
| Dry white wine | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
| Parmesan cheese | 3 Tablespoon, grated | |
| Paprika | 1 Dash |

Directions
Cut into 6 portions.
Place in shallow baking dish.
In saucepan melt butter.
Blend in flour, garlic salt, and dash pepper.
Add milk and wine.
Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly.
Stir in / tablespoon Parmesan cheese.
Pour sauce over fish.
Bake at 350° till fish flakes easily when tested with a fork, 20 to 25 minutes.
Sprinkle remaining Parmesan cheese and paprika over top.
Place under broiler just till cheese is browned and sauce is slightly bubbly, 1 minute.
