Cheese-Pimento Salad Recipe
Ingredients
| Lemon gelatin - 1 pkg. | ||
| Vinegar | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Mayonnaise | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Milk | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Paprika | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Onion | 1 Teaspoon, chopped | |
| Cheese | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), grated | |
| Pimento | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
Directions
MAKING
1. In 1 1/2 cups boiling water dissolve gelatin and stir in vinegar and salt.
2. Chill until partially set.
3. In a bowl blend mayonnaise with milk, paprika and onion.
4. Combine with gelatin mixture.
5. Add cheese and pimento.
6. Pour into ring mold and chill until firm.
SERVING
7. Serve with garnish as desired.
