Cheese Grits Recipe
Ingredients
| Grits | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Margarine | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 8-oz. package | ||
| Sharp cheese, grated | ||
| Eggs | 2 , beaten | |
| 1 sm. jar Cheez Whiz | ||
| Onion | 1 Small, grated | |
| Cayenne pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Garlic powder | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Paprika to taste | ||
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Add grits and salt to 7 1/2 cups boiling water gradually; cook until thickened.
Add remaining ingredients except paprika.
Pour grits mixture into oiled casserole; sprinkle with paprika.
Bake for 30 minutes or until bubbly.
