1 tbsp lemon juice 15 mL
1 clove garlic
4 cups shredded Swiss cheese 1 L
2 cups shredded Edam cheese 500 mL
1 tbsp cornstarch 15 mL
Directions
In saucepan, bring wine, lemon juice and garlic almost to boil over medium heat.
Reduce heat to medium low; remove garlic.
In bowl, toss together Swiss and Edam cheeses and cornstarch; gradually add to saucepan, a handful at a time, whisking constantly until cheese melts before adding more cheese.
Cook until thickened and starting to bubble; transfer to fondue pot set over heat.
